2011 Six Nations Championship

Six Nations 2011 was the twelfth edition of the annual rugby union Six Nations tournament. On five weekends between February 4 and March 19, 2011, the national teams of England, France, Italy, Ireland, Scotland and Wales occurred in 15 games against each other. Tournament winner was England.

The home games of the Irish were first held at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin instead, which was built on the site of the old Lansdowne Road stadium. Thus ended an agreement with the Gaelic Athletic Association for use of the stadium Croke Park. For the first time ever the tournament began with a Friday night game.
