2011 Winston-Salem Open

The Winston Salem Open 2011 was a tennis tournament, which was held in Winston -Salem from 21 to 27 August 2011. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2011 and was discharged on hard court. It belonged to the category ATP World Tour 250

The tournament was held for the first time this year. In the ATP Tournament Calendar it replaced the tournament in New Haven, at its last execution in 2010, Serhiy Stachowskyj had entered in the singles and Horia Tecau and Robert Lindstedt in a double winner in the lists. In this year's singles final John Isner sat in three sets against Julien Benneteau through, and won so near his native Greensboro his third ATP title. For Benneteau it was against the fifth ATP final, the fifth defeat. In the doubles final, Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram won against Christopher Kas and Alexander Peya. This was her second common title this year and their 14th overall ATP title.

The field of individual petition consisted of 48 players, double that of the petition of 16 pairs. The 16 top-seeded player in singles each got a bye into the second round.
