2011 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier
The Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2011 was the qualifying tournament for the Women's Cricket World Cup 2013 and the ICC Women's World Twenty20 2012, and was held in Bangladesh from November 14 to November 26, 2011. In the final, West Indies Pakisten defeated by 130 runs. The two finalists qualify for both the Women's Cricket World Cup 2013, as well as for the ICC Women's World Twenty20 in 2012. Likewise for both tournaments are the third - and fourth-placed, Sri Lanka and South Africa qualified. The qualification of the two teams for the ICC Women's World Twenty20 2012 are due to the fact that Sri Lanka will host the tournament and move up South Africa for the previously qualified West Indies.

Format
The ten participating teams will be divided into two groups of five teams and deny a championship round. The two group winners will qualify directly for the semi-finals, while the respective runners-up and third quarter-final contest. Their winners will qualify for the semi-finals, the loser of the consolation semifinal round, which they deny to the Fourth Group. In the following, then all will qualify. The two finalists will qualify for the ICC Women's World Twenty20 2012 and the Women's Cricket World Cup 2013. Involved in the game for 3rd place also qualify for the Women's Cricket World Cup 2013.
