2011 Women's World Floorball Championships
The 8th floorball world championship of women was from 3 to 11 October 2011, held in St. Gallen, Switzerland. It was attended by 16 teams in the tournament, six more than two years ago at the World Championships in Sweden.
World champion was the team of Sweden by a 4-2 win against Finland, Bronze went to Czech Republic, which Switzerland defeated in the third-place match 3-2.

Qualification

Directly qualified were the best seven teams in the A Division and the best team in the B division. The remaining eight participants were selected through four qualifying tournaments in Spain, Poland, Australia and Canada.
