2011 World Matchplay (darts)

The Sky Bet Mobile World Matchplay 2011 was organized by the Professional Darts Corporation ( PDC) and is one of the major tournaments in darts. It was held in Blackpool on 16th to 24th July 2011 at the Winter Gardens.

As the main sponsor of the sports betting company Stan James was after eleven years replaced by Sky Bet.

On German television sports transferred 1, the World Match Play 2011 live. The pay- TV channel Sport 1 showed the game live days and complete.

Prizes

The total amount of undistributed prize money is 400,000 pounds.

Qualification

For the World Matchplay 2011, the following players were qualified:

  • The 16 top-ranked players in the Order of Merit (set)
  • The 16 top-ranked players in the Players Championship Order of Merit, which were not already eligible on the Order of Merit ( unset )

Tournament schedule
