2011 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships
The 13th World Single Distance Championship was held from 10th to 13th March 2011 in Max Aicher Arena (formerly Ludwig- Schwabl - skating rink ), Inzell. It was the first major event in the completely renovated Ice Rink.

Program and Schedule
The World Single Distance Championships was the last event and the season's highlight of the season 2010/11. There have been awarded the world title on the Olympic individual routes. Women and men wore each of six competitions. The women speak about 2x 500 m, 1000 m, 1500 m, 3000 m and 5000 m and in the team pursuit ( six rounds), the men about 2x 500 m, 1000 m, 1500 m, 5000 m and 10000 m and also in the team pursuit ( eight rounds).

In the individual disciplines up to 24 athletes participated, only about 5,000 m and 10,000 m Women Men only 16 athletes were admitted. For the team pursuit, eight teams were qualified. Overall, athletes could qualify from 21 nations.
