2012–13 Football League Championship
The Football League Championship 2012/13 was the ninth season of the English Football League Championship and also the 21st season of the top flight of the Football League after the introduction of the Premier League as only second highest English league. Began the season on August 17, 2012 with the opening match between Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town ( Result: 1-0), the last round was held on May 4, 2013. As a newly promoted Charlton Athletic, Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town were added. Relegated from the Premier League last year, the Bolton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers and Wolverhampton Wanderers who complete the starting field of 24 teams.
