2012–13 IFA Premiership

The IFA Premiership 2012/13 (also Danske Bank Premiership after the league sponsor Danske Bank) was the fifth season of the highest Northern Ireland football league since the reorganization of the League and the 112th season overall. The season began on 11 August 2012 and ended in the spring of 2013.

After 33 matchdays the league said in a playoff champion and a Abstiegsplayout with six teams in which each team once ran against each team in the group.

The top six teams of the basic passage occurred once each against each other to play off the master and the international launch sites. Points from the regular season to be taken there.

Abstiegsplayout

The six teams from the poorer basic passage occurred once each against each other to determine the relegated and the relegation participants. Points from the regular season to be taken there.

Expulsion

The Elftplatzierte Donegal Celtic defeated after completion of the regular season in two relegation matches Warrenpoint Town as runners-up of the IFA Championship on the away goals rule. Thus Warrenpoint Town is fixed as promoted in the IFA Premiership and Donegal Celtic as a second relegated to the IFA Championship. The relegation matches found on 7 May, 20:15 CEST in Warrenpoint and on 10 May, 20:45 CEST place in Belfast.
