2012–13 Welsh Premier League

The League of Wales in 2012/13 was the 21st season of the highest Welsh league in men's football. It began on 17 August 2012 and ended with the final of the Europa League Playoffs on May 18, 2013.

Reigning champions The New Saints FC secured ahead of time with ultimately 22 -point lead over Airbus UK sovereign title defense.

Mode

The twelve teams played first in a round and a second round twice each against each other, so that each club completed 22 games. Subsequently, the league was split, with the top six teams play for the championship and international launch sites, while the rest is fighting against relegation. In these rounds, the teams will split again twice each against each other. Here all results are taken from the preliminary round.

The best-placed team of the Masters Round is Welsh Champion and qualifies for the qualification for the Champions League 2013 / 14th The runner is allowed to start in qualifying for the Europa League 2013/14. The remaining four teams in the champion round, as well as the best team in the relegation round, playing in a playoff tournament for the last place in the Europa League qualification.

Relegation round

The winner of the relegation round gets the chance to qualify via the Europa League play-offs yet for an international launch site. The two teams ranked eleven and twelve will be relegated to the second division.

Europa League Playoffs

The teams ranked three to six of the champions round, and the winner of the relegation round to reach the playoffs. In the knock-out system, a subscriber is determined at the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League 2013/14. They will play three rounds, with the top three teams will receive a bye for the first round.
