2012 ADAC Formel Masters season

The ADAC Formula Masters - 2012 season was the fifth season of the ADAC Formula Masters. There eight race weekends were held with three races. The season started on 31 March at Oschersleben and ended on 30 September in Hockenheim. Marvin Kirchhöfer won the championship.

Teams and Drivers

Felix Wieland was the youngest rider on his debut at age 15. Antti Buri was the oldest at 23 years.

Race Calendar

Up to the first race weekend at the Nürburgring, all events were held as part of the ADAC Masters Weekend. At the first event at the Nürburgring ADAC Formula Masters drove under the ADAC Truck Grand Prix.

Rating

Points system

In the first two races of a race weekend, the points are distributed according to the points system in Formula 1: 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1. In the third race, the first ten drivers receive for another scoring championship points: 15-10-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.
