2012 African Women's Football Championship qualification

Qualifications of African Cup Women's 2012 24 African women's football teams were reported, of which but two were withdrawn.

The qualification was held in two rounds in a knockout system with home and away matches. In the first round, the 20 weaker nations came together. Since retiring two teams, there were only eight games. The winners and arrived without a fight in the second round teams determined with four other teams ( semifinalists of the African Cup of Nations 2010), the seven teams that have qualified conjunction with the host for the final round.

Preliminary round

The first legs were for 14 and 15, the return legs are scheduled for the 27th, 28th and 29th January 2012.

First round

The first legs were scheduled for May 25 to 27, the return legs on 15 and 16 June 2012. The winners qualified addition to the host for the African Cup of Women, 2012.
