2012 Alpine Skiing World Cup

The season 2011/2012 the FIS Alpine World Cup, organized by the began on 22 October 2011 at the Rettenbachferner in Sölden and ended 18 March 2012 on the occasion of the World Cup finals in Schladming.

In the men's 44 races were planned (11 runs, 8 Super -G, 9 Giant Slalom, Slalom 11, 3 super combinations, two parallel slaloms ), but also with a classic combination rating. In the women's 40 race should be discharged (9 runs, 7 Super G, 9 Giant Slalom, Slalom 10, 3 super combinations, two parallel slaloms ).

The parallel slalom were held under the name City event. The results listed for the World Cup, but not for a discipline standings. After the successful World Cup premiere of City events in the previous year should this season for the first time two such races are held, but had to be canceled due to the weather on New Year's in Munich, the City event.
