2012 Aspria Tennis Cup Trofeo City Life

The Aspria Tennis Cup Trofeo City Life 2012 was the seventh edition of clay tennis court tournament in Milan. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2012 and was held from 25 June to 1 July 2012.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. For the individual tournament, a qualifying round with 28 participants took place in the run-up in which four players were able to qualify for the main draw. The prize money of the event was a total of 30,000 €.

In single won the Spanish wildcard owner Tommy Robredo, who back in the second-rate Challenger Tour collected match practice after a five- month injury break. He sat down in the final against the unseeded Argentine Martín Alund clear in straight sets by. This what the fourth Challenger singles title of his career and the second this year. In the doubles competition, the top-seeded pair won consisting of the American Nicholas Monroe and the German Simon Stadler the final against the unseeded Andrei Golubev Shchukin and Yuri from Kazakhstan in the match tie-break. This was Monroe's sixth success at a doubles tournament of the Challenger - class career and the second of the season. For Stadler, it was the second tournament victory at a Challenger tournament at all, he could both celebrate this season with Monroe. Last year's winners Adrián Menéndez from Spain and Simone Vagnozzi from Italy both did not occur to defend their title.
