2012 Baku Cup

The Baku Cup 2012 was a tennis tournament, which was held in Baku from 23 to 28 July 2012. It was part of the WTA Tour in 2012 and was held outdoors on hard court. Defending champion in the individual was Wera Swonarjowa that did not participate in this year's tournament. In this year's singles final Bojana Jovanovski secured her first WTA title of her career. She beat the USA's Julia Cohen in two sets 6:3 and 6:1. In double Marija Korytzewa and Tazzjana Putschak were the defending champions, but they too did not occur in this year. In double Iryna Burjatschok and Walerija Solovyova won against Eva Birnerova and Alberta Brianti in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs.
