2012 Canadian Championship
The Canadian Championship 2012 ( officially: Amway Canadian Championship ) is a football tournament which was organized by the Canadian Soccer Association and to determine the Canadian delegate at the CONCACAF Champions League 2012/13 was used.
The field consisted of participating in North America on professional gaming operations Canadian clubs Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Montreal Impact of Major League Soccer and FC Edmonton, which plays in the North American Soccer League.
The tournament was previously held as a year in KO mode with semi-finals and finals. The setting numbers after the previous year's placement in the MLS (1 and 2) or the NASL were awarded (3 and 4). The meetings were held as a return game, while the team had better set in the return leg at home or could choose in the finale, in which the two games, which wishes to engage venue.
The first legs of the semi-finals were held on May 2 the return matches on 9 May instead. The final was played on 16 May and 23 May. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the Toronto FC won the final return match 1-0 and with it the trophy, called Voyageurs Cup for the fourth time.
