2012 European Universities Games

The European Universities Games 2012 ( EUSA -Games 2012) is a European multi-sport event for students and the first edition of the Games. Both teams play from 13 to 24 July Córdoba in Spain. Córdoba had prevailed in the bidding process against Łódź and Lisbon and received in March 2010 in Vilnius the bid to host the Games of the European University Sports Association, the governing body of the Games. The games are claims to be Europe's largest multi-sport event for students. In Cordoba 2583 participants started in 253 teams from 151 universities from 32 countries participating.
