2012 International Championship

The International Championship of 2012 was a snooker tournament, which was held in Chengdu from 28 October to 4 November 2012 at the Sichuan International Tennis Center. It was the first edition of this tournament and also the third of five ranking tournaments in China in the 2012/13 season.

The reigning world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan of England said the tournament on 26 October from for health reasons. The Indian Pankaj Advani, who had qualified for the finals for the first time a full ranking tournament, drew back his participation in favor of simultaneously held the World Billiards Championship. Stephen Lee had been closed due to ongoing investigations on suspicion of match-fixing and therefore could not participate.

In the final, the Englishman Judd Trump sat with 10:8 by Neil Robertson against. Trump won his third title at a world ranking tournament and took over first place 1 in the world rankings. In the previous Shanghai Masters he had also been in the final.
