2012 Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters
The Monte Carlo Rolex Masters 2012 was a tennis tournament which took place near Monaco from 15 to 22 April 2012 at the French Roquebrune- Cap- Martin. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2012 and was discharged on clay court. In the current season, it was the third of nine tournaments Category ATP World Tour Masters 1000th
In individual Rafael Nadal won the tournament by a final victory over the world number one Novak Djokovic for the eighth time in a row. In doubles, the Bryan brothers were able to successfully defend her title from last year.
The former world number three and French Open semifinalist in 2006 Ivan Ljubičić, has his main residence in Monte Carlo, finished after his first round defeat against Ivan Dodig as previously announced his pro career.
The field of the individual competition consisted of 56 players, double that of the competition from 24 pairs. The eight top-seeded player in singles or pairs in double each got a bye into the second round.
