2012 Moorilla Hobart International
The Moorilla Hobart International 2012 was a hard court tennis tournament for women in Hobart. It was a tournament of the International Category of the WTA Tour in 2012. The tournament was held from 8 to 14 January 2012.
At the same time the WTA Tour 2012 took place in the Apia International Sydney tournament rather than the Premier category.
Winners in the individual was Mona Barthel, who played through the qualifications until victory. In the main round she beat the set at position 2, 5, 4 and 1 players ( in that order) and was with her final victory of 6-1, 6-2 win against the seeded Yanina Wickmayer position 1 her first WTA tournament.
In doubles, won the Romanian Irina -Camelia Begu Duo / Monica Niculescu, who were able to prevail in a tight final against Chuang Chia -jung / Marina Eraković with 6:74, 7:64 and [ 10:5 ].
