2012 Oberstaufen Cup

Oberstaufen Cup 2012 was the 21st edition of the tennis clay court tournament in Oberstaufen. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2012, as well as the HEAD German Masters Series in 2012 and was held from 23 to 29 July 2012 at the outside.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. For the individual tournament, a qualifying round with 12 participants took place in the run-up in which four players were able to qualify for the main draw. The prize money of the event totaled as in the previous year € 30,000.

The individual tournament unseeded German Dominik Meffert, who defeated German qualifier Nils Langer in straight sets in the final. This was the fourth Challenger singles title of his career. Last year's winner Daniel Brands not stepped up to defend their title.

In the doubles competition, the compound at position two Romanian pairing set consisting of Andrei Daescu and Florin Mergea through in straight sets. This was already the 14 doubles titles on the Challenger Tour in double their careers Daescu for the first and for Mergea. Last year's winners Martin Fischer and Philipp Oswald from Austria both did not occur to defend their title.
