2012 Tiburon Challenger

The First Republic Bank Tiburon Challenger 2012 was a tennis tournament which took place in Tiburon from 8th to 14th October 2012. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2012 and was held outdoors on hard court.

Winners in the individual was the unseeded Jack Sock, who also unset the Mischa Zverev defeated in the final tiebreak of the third set. It was Socks first career title. Defending champion Ivo Karlović this year took no part in the tournament.

In the double set at position four Rik De Voest and Chris Guccione were victorious in the final against the set at the second position Jordan Kerr and Andrew Siljeström. Thus Guccione succeeded in defending his title from last year, he had won at the side of Carsten Ball. Ball this year took no part in the tournament.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. There were both in the individual event with 16 players and for the doubles competition with four doubles, a qualifying round, through which the individual four players in double could qualify a pairing for the main draw.
