2012 Veikkausliiga

The First Division in 2012 was the 23rd season of the highest Finnish league for football the men, since their introduction in 1990. The season started on April 15 and ended on 27 October 2012. Defending champion and at the same time record holder was the HJK Helsinki in the Finnish capital. Newly promoted to the First Division was the FC Lahti. Helsinki won by six points on Inter Turku total 25 Championship. In addition to HJK, the two clubs from Turku, Turun Palloseura Inter and qualified for the European Cup. Cup winner was the FC Honka. Relegated to the Ykkönen was the FC Haka
