2013–14 EuroChallenge

The 2013/14 season is the 11th season of the discharged by FIBA ​​Europe Euro Challenge.

Mode

At the tournament, 32 teams participate. Unlike in previous years, no qualification needed to be played. The regular season was played in eight groups of four teams each. It was divided into two local conferences. The group winners and runners- continued to play in the second group stage with four groups of four teams, with the top two in each group qualify for the quarter-finals. The quarter-finals will be played according to the " best of three " mode. The winners of the quarter-finals to determine the winner in a Final Four of the tournament.

First group stage

The games of the first group stage took place between 5 November and 18 December 2013.

To travel routes and thereby reduce costs incurred for the teams was played in two regional conferences:

  • The groups A, C, E and G predominantly consisted of teams of the Western European area
  • The groups B, D, F and H consisted mainly of men of the Eastern European area

Second group stage (Last 16)

Quarterfinals
