2013 AIBA World Boxing Championships
The 17th Amateur - box world championships were held from October 14 to 26 under the supervision of the Amateur Boxing Association AIBA World in the former Kazakh capital Almaty instead.
The contract was signed by the President of AIBA Ching- Kuo Wu and the President of Kazakhstan Boxing Federation ( CBF ) Timur Kulibayev on April 12, 2012. The World Cup coincided with the opening of the World Boxing Academy in Almaty together. Were wearing the fighting in 2011 to renovated Palace of Sports " Baluan Sholak ". Reported were 576 boxers from 116 countries, which was a new record for the number of participants and participating countries.
