The 101st Australian Open was a tennis hard court tournament Class Grand Slam, which was organized by the ITF. It took place from 14 to January 27, 2013 in Melbourne, Australia.

Defending champion Novak Djokovic in the individual were in the men's and Wiktoryja Azarenka in the women's, both won this year again the title.
