2013 BMW Open

The 2013 BMW Open was a tennis tournament which took place in Munich from 29 April to 5 May 2013. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2013 and was discharged on clay court. In the same week the Portuguese Open has been played in Oeiras, who scored just like the BMW Open to Category ATP World Tour 250.

Defender of the single was the two-time winner Philipp Kohlschreiber and doubles pairing Frantisek Cermak and Filip Polášek.

Winners in the individual was Tommy Haas with a two- set victory in the final against two-time champion Philipp Kohlschreiber. This was the first tournament victory of 2013, Haas and the 14th overall. Winner of the double was the pairing Jarkko Nieminen and Dmitry Tursunov, who prevailed in the final against Marcos Baghdatis and Eric Butorac.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 28 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. The four top-seeded player in singles each got a bye into the second round.

Qualification for the 2013 BMW Open was held from 29 April 2013 27. Were playing four qualifiers places eligible to participate in the main draw of the tournament.

At the BMW Open 2013, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid or credited for each round is reached. Players who entered from qualifying into the main draw, the qualifying points were given in addition to those for the respective round is reached. Otherwise, the amounts are not cumulative.
