2013 European Beach Volleyball Championships
The Beach Volleyball European Championship 2013 was held August 4 in Klagenfurt ( Austria ) from 30th July. In the competition among women, the Austrian sisters Doris and Stefanie Schwaiger used the home advantage and sat down in the final against the Spanish duo Liliana / Baquerizo by. The German duel for third place won Laura Ludwig and Kira Walkenhorst against Katrin Holt and Ilka Semmler Wick. For women and men, respectively, 32 teams competed. In eight preliminary round groups of four teams played " FFA " for a place in the knockout stage.
