2013 FIBA Asia Championship

The basketball Asia Championship 2013 ( officially: FIBA Asia Championship 2013) was 27th edition of this tournament and took place from August 1 to August 11, 2013 to Philippines. 1) In July 2013 FIBA suspended the membership of Lebanon for an indefinite period. Thus Lebanon was excluded from the participation in the Asian Cup. FIBA has tried to invite the runners of West Asian qualifying Iraq and United Arab Emirates, but they both said because of a lack of preparation time from. Thus, it was decided by FIBA ​​perform 15-team tournament. All the teams in Group B were qualified for the next round regardless of the outcome of the group matches. Preliminary round

After the second round to the first four teams qualified in each of the two groups E and F for the final round.
