2013 IIHF World U18 Championships

The 15th Ice Hockey World Championships U18 Juniors of the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships were the of 2013 in the age group of under- eighteen year olds ( U18). In total, between February 7 and April 28, 2013 43 teams in the seven tournaments in the top division and the divisions I to III part.

The world champion was the third time overall, the Canadian team, which was able to defeat the defending champion from the United States in the final 3-2. Third place went Finland. Due to the re -participation of teams from Israel, Israel and Ireland Ireland the tournament's Division III, Group B could be played, after it had been deleted without replacement in the previous year.

Top Division

The U18 World Championship was held in the Russian city of Sochi from 18 to 28 April 2013, and was considered a test competition for the Olympic Winter Games 2014. Played in Shaiba - Ice Arena ( 7,000 seats) and the Bolshoi Ice Palace with 12,000 seats.

Mode

Division I

Group A in Asiago, Italy

The tournament Group A, Division I was from 7 to April 13, 2013 in Asiago, Italy, discharged. The games were held in 3,000 -seat Pala Hodegart.
