2013 Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships
The Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships 2013 were a tennis tournament, which was held in Tokyo from 30 September to 6 October 2013. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2013 and was held outdoors on hard court. In the same week the China Open was played in Beijing, which included just like the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships to Category ATP World Tour 500.
Defender of the single was the local hero Kei Nishikori, who was appointed this year to position four. In doubles, Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares won the title last year. They took this year no longer participate in the tournament.
The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs.
