2013 SAP Open

The SAP Open 2013 was a tennis tournament, which was held in San José from 11 to 17 February 2013. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2013 and was held in the indoor hard courts. In the same week the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament and played in São Paulo, the Brasil Open in Rotterdam. The latter included just like the SAP Open to Category ATP World Tour 250, while the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament belonged to Category ATP World Tour 500.

Last year's winner Milos Raonic was able to defend his title with confidence. He won the final against German Tommy Haas in straight sets 6-4, 6-3. He was there during the entire tournament and had not set off only against Denis Istomin once in the tiebreaker. In doubles, Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram were the defending champions, but they did not play more together this year. While Ram does not participate in the tournament, Lipsky played with Santiago Gonzalez and retired in the quarterfinals of. The finale won Xavier Malisse and Frank Moser against Lleyton Hewitt and Marinko Matosevic in straight sets; Moser it was the first title on the ATP World Tour.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 28 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs.
