2014 Copa Claro

The Copa Claro 2014 was a tennis tournament which took place in Buenos Aires from 8 to 16 February 2014. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2014 and was held outdoors on sand. In the same week the U.S. National Indoor Tennis Championships in Rotterdam as well as the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament were played in Memphis. The former included just like the Copa Claro to Category ATP World Tour 250, while the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament 2014 belonged to Category ATP World Tour 500.

Last year's winner in the individual David Ferrer successfully defended his title with confidence. He defeated Fabio Fognini in the final in straight sets and thus won his 21st individual title. In doubles, the Italian duo Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini won the title last year. This year, the Spanish duo Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez won the title.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs.

The qualification for the Copa Claro 2014 was held from February 10, 2014 from 8. Were playing four qualifiers places eligible to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
