2015 UCI Road World Championships

The 82th UCI Road World Championships will take place from September 19 to 27 2015 U.S. Richmond.

The World Championships are made up of a total of twelve contests, each a road race, team time trial, and a time trial for men and women as well as one road race and individual time trial for U23 riders, juniors and juniors. The world title fights in 2015 for the first time in nearly 30 years back in the U.S. instead, to Colorado Springs in 1986.

In February 2014, the organizers presented the route plans for the road World Championships. The road race will be held on a circular course through the city of Richmond. For men and women leading the trail over 16.5 kilometers and has only in the last three kilometers, three short but steep climbs. Total per round 238 meters and some cobblestone sections need to be addressed. For the U23 and Junior the round is reduced by an increase to 15.5 kilometers. The number of rounds for each competition is not fixed yet.

The individual time trial of the men leads over 53.1 kilometers and just over 600 meters. The Time Trial Women, U23 and Junior are all held on a circuit with 15.5 kilometers in length and 200 meters in altitude. The junior girls take a ride, Women, U23 and Junior of those two. The team time trial on flat roads leading out of the city; the route for the men is 35.3, the 24 km long for women.
