( 20254 ) Úpice is one of the main asteroid belt, which by the Czech astronomer Petr Pravec at the observatory Ondřejov (IAU code 557 ) was discovered in Ondřejov in Bohemia on 21 March 1998.

The asteroid was named after the city Úpice in northeastern Bohemia, where since 1959, operates a built with the help and support of almost all residents observatory.
