( 21110 ) Karl Valentin is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on 4 September 1992 by the German astronomer frankness Börngen and Lutz D. Schmadel at the Thuringian State Observatory Tautenburg (IAU code 033).

The asteroid is named after the Bavarian comedian, folk singer, author and film producer Karl Valentin (1882-1948), who in his skits and plays parodied the powerlessness of the individual together with his partner, Liesl Karlstadt.
