( 21331 ) Lodovicoferrari is an asteroid of the main belt, which from the Italian-American astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory (IAU code 684) was discovered in Arizona on January 17, 1997.

Was named the asteroid after the Italian mathematician Gerolamo Cardano and pupil of Lodovico Ferrari (1522-1565), who found the solution to equations of the fourth degree and from 1564 was professor of mathematics at Bologna.
