( 2148 ) Epeios is an asteroid from the group of Jupiter Trojans. Thus asteroids are called, which run on the path of Jupiter on the Lagrange points around the sun. ( 2148 ) Epeios was discovered on October 24, 1976 by Richard M. West.

Was named the asteroid after Epeios, a Greek soldier of the Trojan War, who was involved in the construction of the Trojan Horse.
