( 21795 ) Masi is one of the main asteroid belt, on 29 September 1999 by the Italian astronomer Franco Mallia at Campo Catino - Observatory ( observatory code 468 ) was discovered in the municipality Guarcino.

The asteroid is (* 1972), named after the Italian astronomer Gianluca Masi amateur, who since 1988 has been assistant at Campo Catino Observatory, and the exploration of asteroids and variable stars, and this mainly cataclysmic variables dedicated.
