( 2201 ) Oljato is an asteroid of the Apollo - type, which was discovered on 12 December 1947 by Henry Lee Giclas at the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff.

The name Oljato means as much as water in the moonlight and is another name for the Monument Valley in the USA.

Oljato is probably the origin of the body of meteor shower of the Chi Orionids.
