(222 ) Lucia is an asteroid of the outer main asteroid belt, which was discovered on February 9, 1882 by Johann Palisa at the Observatory of Vienna.

The asteroid was named after the daughter of the Austrian polar explorer Johann Nepomuk Graf Wilczek.
