( 2264 ) Sabrina is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on 16 December 1979 in Coconino County by the American astronomer Edward LG Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station (IAU code 688 ) of the Lowell Observatory.

The asteroid was named after the legendary English princess Sabrina, the daughter of King Locrine who was drowned in the Severn, according to legend. After this event, the river was named in Latin Sabrina.
