24 Hours of Le Mans (motorcycle race)

The 24 -hour motorcycle race at Le Mans ( 24 Heures du Mans moto ) is a motorcycle endurance race, which will be played on the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans since 1978.

The race is organized by the Automobile Club de l' Ouest (ACO ) and is part of the FIM Endurance World Championship.

History

As the Bol d'Or to the racing season in 1977 by the Bugatti circuit, on which he has been held since 1971, moved to the Circuit Paul Ricard, the Automobile Club de l' Ouest, the 24 -hour motorcycle race at Le Mans for motorcycles called into life. In addition to the 8- hour race at Suzuka and the Bol d'Or, this race became one of the endurance classic of motorcycle racing.
