(258 ) Tyche is an asteroid of the main asteroid belt, which was discovered on May 4, 1886 by Karl Theodor Robert Luther at the observatory Dusseldorf.

Of the heavenly bodies was named after the Greek goddess Tyche.

Tyche moves at a distance of 2.0792 ( perihelion ) to 3.1504 ( aphelion ) astronomical units in 4.2283 years of the sun. The orbit is inclined 14.2931 ° to the ecliptic, the orbital eccentricity is 0.2048.
