( 26357 ) is a Laguerre of the main asteroid belt, which from the Italian-American astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory (IAU code 684) was discovered in Arizona on December 27, 1998.

The asteroid is named after the French mathematician Edmond Laguerre (1834-1886) named, considered the founders of modern geometry.
