(264 ) The opera is an asteroid of the main asteroid belt, which was discovered on 22 December 1886 by Christian Heinrich Friedrich Peters at the observatory of Clinton (USA).

It was named after celestial bodies Libuse, the legendary founder of the city of Prague.

Libussa moves at a distance of 2.4194 ( perihelion ) to 3.1767 ( aphelion ) astronomical units in 4.6806 years of the sun. The orbit is inclined 10.4341 ° to the ecliptic, the orbital eccentricity is 0.1353.
