  • Antigonus II Gonatas of Macedonia acceded to the throne as the successor of Sosthenes. After two years largely anomie that prevailed with frequently changing kings as a result of the Celtic invasion, Antigonus manage the restoration of Macedonian rule. Near Lysimacheia he triumphs over the Celts.

Western Mediterranean
