( 27710 ) Henseling is one of the main asteroid belt, by the German astronomer frankness Börngen at the Thuringian State Observatory Tautenburg (IAU code 033) was discovered in Thuringia on 7 September 1988.
The asteroid was named after the German astronomer and writer Robert Henseling (1883-1964), who was a committed supporter of amateur astronomy and co-founder of two public observatories.
