( 29203 ) Schnitger is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on 9 April 1991 by the German astronomer frankness Börngen at the Thuringian State Observatory Tautenburg (IAU code 033) in Thuringia.

Was named the asteroid after the famous German organ builder Arp Schnitger (1648-1719), who is regarded as the perfecter of the North German Baroque organ and in his Northern Europe extensive sphere of action with over 100 new organs set the style.
