( 29212 ) Zeeman is an asteroid of the main belt, which was discovered on 10 September 1991 by the German astronomer frankness Börngen at the Thuringian State Observatory Tautenburg (IAU code 033) in Thuringia.

Was named the asteroid after the Dutch physicist Pieter Zeeman (1865-1943), who examined the influence of magnetism on radiation phenomena and was awarded together with Hendrik Antoon Lorentz in 1902 with the Nobel Prize for Physics.
