( 29643 ) Plucker is an asteroid of the main belt, which from the Italian-American astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory (IAU code 684) was discovered in Arizona on November 15, 1998.

Was named the asteroid after the German mathematician and physicist Julius Plücker (1801-1868), who in mathematics concerned with the definition of Linen and dots ( Plücker matrix) and as a physicist in 1858 discovered the cathode rays.
